APPEARANCE : Fresh lemon scented foliage with small fluffy white flowers in clusters. Grows as a tree in subtropical climates, and a shrub in cooler ones. These plants are seed-grown.
USE FOR : Beautiful in native gardens to attract bird-life. Suitable for large containers when pruned regularly.
LOCATION : This native shrub is best grown in full sun. Plant in free draining soil rich in organic matter. Prefers a sheltered position in the garden.Tolerates light frost. A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal.
CARE : Mulch and water well, prune and fertilise after flowering to promote compact growth. Water well during dry conditions. Easy to maintain.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 2-8m H x 4-6m W in sunny garden sites. May reach up to 20 metres in its natural shady habitat.
